Edmund Taylor members receive their medals Tuesday 18th Feb.

On the 17th of December, Edmund Taylor RAM Lodge celebrated 100 years, and also dedicated their new banner, with the PGM, the Provincial Team, the Deputy Grand Master, Grand DC and Deputy Grand Secretary in attendance. It was a splendid celebration!

The only things missing were the centenary jewels which were a little delayed.  It was a really nice surprise when the PGM Peter Connolly offered to attend the meeting in February to present the jewels to the members.  Not only did Peter get the chance to lead the presentation, he was also delighted to see that two new members were brought in during the meeting.   Bros Bill Snell and Robert Arrand were received into the Order in fine style, with Worshipful Commander Tony Farrar doing a fine job, assisted by David Bell his DC.

The Wardens George Wright and Rory Maskell also did a fine job, assisted by the SD Andrew Dickson who lead the candidates round the Lodge and showed them how to get to the East in fine style.

The hard-working Scribe Howard Emmett organised a wonderful triangular festive board, at which the PGM entertained us with his usual flair. David Bell proposed the toast to the two new candidates, and Bill and Robert responded superbly. Another great RAM night!
DC David Bell did a wonderful job, and took part as well.
